5 DAYS BWINDI NATIONAL PARK AND QUEEN ELIZABETH

 5 Days Bwindi Impenetrable National park  and Queen Elizabeth National park, where there quite a number of tourism activities such as Mountain Gorillas, Boat rides, Game drives, Nature walks, birding ,tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector.

Queen Elizabeth National park, is located in the southwestern part of Uganda in Kasese district where there is an amazing  destination to see a number of wildlife species  that include Kobs, antelopes, giraffes and many more, the park has the scenic and diverse ,it’s the second biggest national park with approximately 1,979 square Kilometers.

Bwindi Impenetrable National park is a home to over 400 mountain Gorillas that are left in the world, Bwindi Impenetrable National park is one of the national parks in Africa, and the whole world about from Virunga National park in Democratic Republican of Congo and Volcanoes national park in Rwanda.

You will have a face to face encounter with the closest human DNA%.

Trek through the forestry with the guide and ranger to see a number of chimpanzees.

Day 1:KAMPALA CITY-BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Accommodation optional depending on availability of  the permits.

After breakfast early morning our guide will pick you up early morning at 6:30am, take you through a short briefing about the whole trip, start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National park drive through cultivated land, stopover at the equator, take photos for your memories and as well buy some souvenirs back home, see the two lines that divide the world into two, the north and south pole.

Drive and continue with the journey, you will have a stopover at Agip motel in Mbarara town for lunch and there after continue through the cultivated land, to Kigazi land the place known as the Switzerland of Africa, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of rolling hills, mountains, terraces, for those who will trek the Rushaga sector have a chance to see Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deep crater Lake.

Later on arrive at lodge, check in you will be welcomed by caring people, relax have dinner and sleep.

 Day 2: Bwindi  Impenetrable National Park Gorilla trekking


Bwindi impenetrable National Park
Gorilla trekking, early morning wakeup at 6am thereafter have breakfast  at 07:15 am ,have your packed lunch and water,  your guide will lead you to the briefing ground to get the briefing  center at 8.00am ,the game warden will take you through a short briefing about Gorilla trekking and thereafter be grouped into 8 people.

Meet the game ranger and guide who will trail with you into the forest. As you trail enjoy the beautiful sceneries, spot a number of bird species, trees, mammals, butterflies, geckoes and many more.

However one needs to be physically fit in order to trail through the forest, it is so slippery, muddy and steep.

The trek takes 30minutes from the park headquarters to 7 hours depending on the location of the mountain Gorillas.

When you finally meet the mountain Gorillas your be given one hour to spend with them as they continue with their day to day life activities, stand far away 7 meters from the wild apes.

Take pictures as much as you want however with flash lights off.

Have one hour enjoying your picnic lunch in the forest, return to the lodge relax, option for evening walk to the Batwa trail head or Bakiga community.

Day 3:Bwindi Forest park and Queen Elizabeth National park

Bwindi Forest park and Queen Elizabeth National park, drive through a distance via the Ishasha sector have a chance to see the tree climbing lions in the area if at all your  lucky enough, savannah grassland, mammals. Arrive check in at the lodge.

Day 4: Game drive-Queen Elizabeth National park

Early morning after breakfast ,our guide will pick you up at 7am ,enjoy a game drive early morning see a number Leopards, Spotted hyenas ,Elephants ,Lions. Visit Lake Katwe and see a number of Hippopotamus on water, Kobs, Topi’s, warthogs, hyena and many more.

Return to the lodge for Lunch, after you can encounter a village walk to Katwe salt mining centre. Learn about the local community, how mining is processed.

Return to the lodge for dinner and relax

 Day 5 Queen Elizabeth National park-Kampala

After the early morning breakfast set off through Fort  portal. Have a stopover in Fort portal for lunch. Fort [portal is a land of crater lakes, irresistible sceneries, with a great view of Rwenzori mountain.

Arrive in Kampala before night to your hotel or flight.
