2 Days Murchison falls National, is located in the northwest part of Uganda, the park spreads from the might shore of Lake Albert, Victoria Nile to Karuma fall. Murchison falls National, is the oldest national park in Uganda and the largest in the country, it was first gazette as a game reserve. The park is found at the shores of the  second largest lake in the world, this is where the Nile flows through a narrow gorge that  is approximately 7 meters before plunging in a 43meters to create a dramatic 730 spare meters of Karuma wild reserve. It then continues to Gulu high way where the government of Uganda is locating the 600watts of the largest hydro electric power station which will be generated by 2018.

The park hosts about 80 species with over 350 bird species including the most attractive bird which attracts a number of tourists in Uganda the shoe bill stalk.

The park provides a number of activities including boat cruise, culture encounter, game drives, nature walks, game drives, bird watching, sport fishing, hot air balloon and many more.

The river banks of the park is a place  where one can have an opportunity to have the best views of wildlife including, lions, warthogs, olive baboons, hippos, water bucks, Nile crocodiles, aquatic birds and many more.

 The journey to the park takes about 283km by road from the Northwest of Kampala the capital city of Uganda and about 72km from Masindi town.

Day 1, early morning our guide will pick you up after breakfast and take you through a short briefing about the whole trip, there after start the trip at 7am, this early morning drive enables us not to encounter with the traffic jam and also to reach at the park early so as to catch up with the park activities on time.

Drive through Luwero triangle a town remembered for the Brutal war that brought the ruling government on power, as well as stopover to buy some fruits from the market and we continue with our journey through farms and cultivated lands.

As you enter the park see the Baboons moving around the park as they move towards Budongo Forest. It’s a great moment for pictures to be taken; this is a great point start for your trip continues driving to prepare for the hike to the top of the falls.

At the top of the falls you’re treated with fresh breathing moment, great sights amazing scenery, see the high volume of 400 cubic meters hitting into a 7metere tiny Gorge.

After the great encounter return to the lodge for lunch at preferred lodge of your choice, after Lunch at 2pm we catch up with the boat Launch on Nile River, the ride takes 3hours, there a number of wildlife variety of wild sightings. There water animals as well to see including Hippos, Crocodiles as they come across to drink water.

There Buffaloes, Antelopes, elephants, a number of birds and many more.

Return to the Lodge after the encounter, our guide will drive you back to the lodge for refreshment and dinner.

Day 2 Game drive and departure

Early morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up with a ranger for a morning game drive; see the Nocturnal, before they return to their hideouts.

The Nile River bisects into the Nile Northern and Southern sectors, there is a higher concentration of mammals at the northern part than the south part. For those whose accommodation is on the south there will have to drive to the North, enjoy the trail heads of the mammals these include Zebras, spotted Hyenas, Jackson’s hart beast, waterbucks, leopards, warthogs, Lions, Elephants and many more.

After the great encounter return to the lodge and check out, drive to Masindi for lunch at Kabalega dinner.

You will then drive back to Kampala before 5Pm option to fly back or drop you at your hotel this depends on your return tick or area of residence.
