Rushaga Gorilla camp is a haven for trekking with in Bwindi impenetrable forest, a sector for all visits in Uganda and one of the best reason you would visit Uganda.
There is a camping site at the camp, and their rooms provided including 6 self-contained room, twin/double,6 luxury tents of twin and double.
The camp has a restaurant which serves both local and international food.
The lodge is located in near the forest and one can feel the warm and breathe taking of Bwindi impenetrable National park.
There occasional mountain Gorillas which move around the forest.
The location of the camp is comprised of a mountain, with beautiful sceneries and a permanent spring where forest elephants occasionally visit to drink water.

Gorilla trekking
Rushaga has a number of 7 mountain Gorilla groups which can be trekked from Rushaga Gorilla camp, the families include Nshongi, Mishaya, Kahungye, Bweza and Busingye plus the sector of Nkuringo and Mgahinga for Nyakagezi group can be trekked from this location. It’s very possible to access different forest walks and Batwa cultural site.

Access
To access Rushaga Gorilla camp, one has to drive from Kampala which takes about 7-8 hours, while from Kigali it’s about 4 hours, 1 hours from Kabale.
