The park is composed of 331 square kilometer of both Montane and lowland forest. Bwindi impenetrable national park is one of the national parks in the world and Africa, to inhabit the mountain Gorillas and it can only be accessed on foot.

The park is best famous for Gorilla trekking, although it protects other species including bird species, treespecies, primates, mammals, butterflies, geckoes, chameleons and 150 fern species. The park has four sectors Rushaga,Nkuringo,Ruhija and Buhoma.

The 3 days safari to Bwindi impenetrable national park gives you an opportunity to encounter and experience the day to day life of mountain Gorillas.

Detailed itinerary for the 3 days gorilla trekking Bwindi forest safari

Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Wakeup early morning for a cup of coffee as our driver takes you through the whole briefing about the wholetrip. Set off at 7am, this early morning trip enables us not to encounter with the traffic jam and also to reach early.

We have a stopover at the equator where the imaginary line crosses through Africa, the north and South Pole, refresh and take some pictures as well as checking the craft shops, youmight buy one for your memory. After continue with the drive and en-route to Mbarara at Agip motel for lunch there after continue through the cultivated land as well as spotting out cattle's as they graze.

Drive to Bwindi you will enjoy beautifulscenery of rolling hills, mountains and the rugged roads. Arrive and check in at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community visit

You will wake up at 6am for preparation for Gorilla trekking and pack your lunch. Our guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a short briefing about Gorilla trekking at 7am and also to meet the ranger and guide. Start the trek which takes 30minutes to 4hours in the wild searching for mountain Gorillas dependingon thesector where you're trekking and where the mountain Gorillas are located.

Note: Mountain Gorillas are wild animals that keep moving.

As you trek through the steep terrines of mountaineer slopes this gives you an opportunity for bird lovers to spot out a number of birds, trees, fern species and many more.

When you encounter with the mountain Gorillas you will be allowed to spend one hour with the wild apes as they continue with their day to day activities like playing, grooming each other, feeding and many more.

After your encounter you will have one hour to spend in the forest and have a picnic lunch in the wild.

After return to the park headquarters for a gorilla ceremony and also for the trekkingcertificate.

Our guide will drive you back to the lodge for refreshment after your unforgettable trek to encounter with the mountain gorillas. Depending on your ability you can have an evening village walk to learn about the culture of the local people or Batwa the first people to inhabit the rain forest.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala

Wake up early morning get ready and have a cup of tea and then drive back to Kampala before 6pm.have lunch in Mbarara town at Agip motel and then proceed as you have a stopover Igongo culture center. Our guide will drive you back to your hotel in Kampala or airport depending on your travel time.
